For those hoping the cast of Mean Girls would reunite for the film's 10th anniversary, don't hold your breath.
While Tina Fey promoted her new movie Muppets Most Wanted, the Mean Girls writer told Access Hollywood that there would not be a follow-up movie where the original cast would all reunite, but is open if the cast wanted to come together for something else.
"If everyone's around, we might try to do some kind of like panel discussion," she said. "But it's not... another movie. At most, it would be like a panel discussion with a plate of hot wings."
Inspired by the non-fiction book Queen Bees and Wannabes, Fey wrote the 2004 comedy that starred Lindsay Lohan as Cady, a 16-year-old who tries to fit in with the popular clique at her new high school. The film also starred Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert. ABC Family aired a sequel, Mean Girls 2 ,in 2011.
