Outlander won't officially return for Season 4 until later this year, but fans will get to see a full scene from the upcoming season if they tune into Starz this weekend.
The premium network is hosting a special Outlander marathon of Season 3 beginning at 9:05 a.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 14. The marathon will culminate with the premiere of an entire scene from the Season 4 premiere at 10 p.m..
The Season 3 finale of Outlander concluded with Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie (Sam Heughan) finding themselves marooned on the coast of Georgia after their ship was wrecked in a hurricane on their way back to Scotland from Jamaica. The next season will begin their American adventure as they embed themselves with the colonists at the start of the American Revolution.
The fourth season of the romance epic is currently filming in Scotland and will debut on Starz later in 2018. Season 3 ended with 5.6 million multi-platform viewers per episode, an increase from its 5.2 million series average. It is the second most watched premium cable series behind Game of Thrones and is based off of Diana Gabaldon's bestselling book series by the same name.
