Sam and Dean investigate a series of murders that echo fairy tales and urban legends. Their probe leads them to an 11-year-old boy who's able to make everything he believes come true. Castiel thinks the lad is a threat and wants him eliminated.
Bobby plays a high-stakes poker game with a witch and bets 25 years of his life for a chance to be free of his wheelchair, but he loses. As he begins to rapidly age, Dean attempts to save him, but he also ages into an old man.

Sam and Dean are rescued from demons by townspeople preparing for the apocalypse. They meet a pastor's daughter who claims to be a prophet, but she turns local citizens against each other, and the brothers must decide whether she should be killed.
Bobby trades his soul for the location of Death so Sam and Dean will have a better chance of stopping the Apocalypse. Meanwhile, the brothers confront Pestilence, who unleashes a deadly virus upon them; Dean attends a meeting with Death.
