Happy Supernatural Day! As we celebrate the anniversary of the show's Sept. 13, 2005, debut, stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins are using the special occasion as an opportunity to give back. In honor of the final Supernatural Day before the show signs off, the actors are teaming up with Hot Topic for a worthy cause.
Starting Friday, fans can purchase a special "End of the Road" T-shirt both online and in stores. All of the proceeds from Friday's shirt sales, both in stores and online, will go to Random Acts and provide relief for Hurricane Dorian survivors.
TODAY ONLY! HT will donate 100% of profits from every purchase of the Supernatural End of the Road tee to Random Acts to provide relief for Hurricane Dorian survivors, a cause & charity especially chosen by @jarpad, @JensenAckles and @mishacollins! #SPNCharitee #SupernaturalDay pic.twitter.com/MKRkbdKjMP— Hot Topic (@HotTopic) September 13, 2019
The charitable move is nothing new for the SPN Family. Over the years, Collins, Ackles, and Padalecki have mobilized their dedicated fanbase to do good in the world through charitable works with non-profit organizations like Random Acts. Collins founded the organization in 2009 to inspire random acts of kindness around the world. When asked about Supernatural's legacy, the actor named the important work they do off-screen as the thing he hoped the show is most remembered for.
"I think we have been cultivating that, but I would love to see that be a legacy," Collins said. "I would love to see other fandoms try to emulate Supernatural in terms of helping one another and helping the universe."
Fans can purchase their "End of the Road" shirts online here.
Supernatural returns for its 15th and final season Thursday, Oct. 10 at 8/7c on The CW.
