Supernatural Day is the gift that keeps on giving. In addition to Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins teaming up with Hot Topic for a sweet charity T-shirt, the CW has unveiled the stunning poster for the show's final season which, if we're being honest, absolutely belongs in the Louvre.
"As it is written, so it shall end," the sepia-toned masterpiece reads, adding a twist on the famous biblical phrase. The poster is no doubt a nod to Chuck (Rob Benedict), architect of the universe and the final season's big bad. As you'll recall, Season 14 wrapped on a shocking note when he, with a snap of a finger, tore down the barriers between Hell and Earth and unleashed a myriad of deceased creatures out into the world. Sam, Dean, and Cas were last seen surrounded by the creatures they'd previously killed while Jack (Alexander Calvert), whom Chuck murdered, woke up in the Big Empty to Billie hitting him up for an important chat.
If we're going by the poster, which features a stairway to heaven, Team Free Will is in for the fight of their lives.
Supernatural returns for its 15th and final season Thursday, Oct. 10 at 8/7c on The CW.
